I always remember Dame Louise Casey’s words in 2013, when she was tsar for the Troubled Families, her headline in The Guardian was “What’s missing is love”.
The same can be said of the education system. The passion and love behind the teacher’s vocation; to improve the lives of children and young people has been crushed by the process of a system created decades ago and controlled by the closed mindset of the stakeholders.
There have probably been thousands of costly isolated short-term ad hock interventions, that have probably cost £trillions. Not only is it not money well spent, it has made our society worse by any measure.
A recent State of the Nation report (2018-19) showed inequality in the UK is ‘entrenched’ and social mobility ‘virtually stagnant’ since 2014 with the Social Mobility Commission calling for urgent action.
The Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee stated in a report (2019), children’s services are at ‘breaking point’.
The attainment gap between disadvantaged children and their better-off peers could widen by as much as 75% because of the coronavirus outbreak (DfE 2020).
COVID-19 has highlighted the dramatic increase in mental health and reduction in wellbeing, with the greatest impact is young people (IFS 2020).
COVID-19 provides an opportunity to learn the lessons of the past and create a whole new way forward and make a paradigm shift in education and social care, we have a proposal:

The Family
Our ethos: we believe the ‘family’ is the most precious unit on earth, founded in love, respect and trust, our purpose is to empower the family with mindfulness, life coaching skills and a growth mindset. Our mission is the create an empowered ‘school family’ with the same values, beliefs and skills, this wrap-around of love, respect and trust will empower every small person to grow, thrive and prosper.
Empowering Children
Our unconventional and experiential suite of personal development programmes was evaluated by Canterbury Christ Church University in a 2-year project, which proved it’s impact. The programmes deliver an integrated and cohesive approach to empower all participants:
- Pupils with resilience, social and emotional well-being and to take responsibility for themselves.
- Improve teachers work-life balance and their personal and emotional well-being.
- Inspire parents and carers to achieve, take responsibility, feel better about themselves and become empowering role models.
To create an empowering coaching culture where all teachers, parents and pupils are working in partnership.
Before we start training, we create an environment of trust and mutual respect with participants.
We use a Powerful Combination of:
- Tailored mindfulness to calm the mind and experience living in the moment.
- Personal life coaching to empower one to step out of their comfort zone, identify and achieve their goals.
- Emotional literacy techniques to understand how thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions can be changed and managed.
Your ‘Energetic Connection’
Our Unique Selling Point is a concept called the ‘energetic connection’, it’s a heart to heart emotion with potential for a deeper connection. We are all made of energy, according to Socrates and quantum physicists, it’s fundamental and subconscious and we experience it all the time.
It can transform all your relationships. The better we feel about ourselves the more positive energy we are emitting, and we have a stronger connection to those around us. Children are sensitive and have innate abilities and wisdom; they’re drawn to adults emitting positive energy and integrity.
Our Learning Framework shows the neurobiological potential connections: each participant intuitively takes what they need.
Self-sustaining
To create an empowering coaching culture our programmes are experiential:
- We identify and train Champions from each group of parent/carers, teachers and pupils who go on to train the rest of the school to become self-sustaining.
- In the last session participants create their Sustainability Strategy, it supports the collaborative ethos, reinforces learning and expand potential.
The Future
In the 4th Industrial Revolution, the world of business is rapidly changing, innovative business leaders are seeking to tap into the individual and collective talents and wisdom of their people.
Young people need personal development skills and abilities like; self-realisation, confidence, be equipped with a growth mindset, resilience, a strong social, emotional and mental health constitution. Importantly can access higher-order thinking skills, enabling them to analyse, synthesise, problem-solve and evaluate information instead of simply recalling facts.
We KNOW that everyone has huge untapped potential and we have found the KEY to unleash it!
Help us in our quest; let’s apply this proven approach with you. Together WE WILL transform your school, community and our society from the inside out.
Please share with those who would resonate with this approach, thank you.
