There is an inquiry by the House of Commons Select Committee about the quality of apprenticeships and skills training. Our response is to start preparing students for the world of work when they start to look at their future and careers during Key Stage 3. Our main argument is to inspire and motivate them with personal development skills at this time, rather than start talking about apprenticeships at 16 or 17.
However, we believe that the current focus for the future of an apprentice is based on technology, hardware and software, with virtually no recognition of empowering the soft skills of the person using the keyboard.
If we incorporate our unique personal development programs in secondary schools at Key Stage 3, empowered students will have a massive impact on their family, community, workplace and society. Leading to huge major benefits including:
