I didn’t sleep last night because of a FANTASTIC meeting yesterday. Over the last 12 years a number of people have asked me at what point would I consider our work a success and my answer was always, “When we receive a large contract from a local authority for our work”. Well, we are going to be running a pilot project training some keyworkers in our personal development approach to use our Parent Champion online program with their families. OK not a ‘large contract’ but I’m totally confident the work will prove itself and evolve in the most effective way for all concerned.
And it doesn’t end there, the other half of our vision is to change education. Another first step, from October we will be training teachers in our personal development approach for their individual benefit and to use with their students.
I would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everybody who has contributed their time, expertise and love to this work, mostly on a voluntary basis over the years, without a doubt it wouldn’t have happened without you.
