Mum of children 14, 7, 5 and 1 – Change the World

Before the course when my eldest daugh­ter (14 years old) approached me I might appear to be lis­ten­ing but not take on board what she was say­ing. I was also tak­ing on the respon­si­bil­ity of every­one in the fam­ily which was giv­ing me loads of stress and I never knew if I was com­ing or going.

The biggest thing I got from the course was the expan­sion exer­cise which gave me the power to realise I was in con­trol of every­thing I do. I have now con­nected to my inner self giv­ing me the abil­ity to know what I need to do next.

The com­mu­ni­ca­tion with my fel­low bud­dies has allowed us to become an extended fam­ily, no mat­ter what the chal­lenge there is always some­one to lend a help­ing hand. What we’ve realised is that we were always great but didn’t know it.

‘Level of lis­ten­ing’ has helped me to lis­ten to every­one on a much deeper level and every­one equally which has led to a remark­able change in atmos­phere in the whole fam­ily. And the amount of argu­ments has reduced to only 25% of what they were and I can see that being reduced.

My eldest daugh­ter was my biggest chal­lenge but because of the work I have done on myself, she has responded with remark­able changes to her behav­iour. I came to the course ini­tially to help with these chal­lenges and found it has impacted on every area of my life and our family.

My motto now is ‘that any­thing is pos­si­ble given the right resources’. I want to share the essence of what I have achieved with the world – start­ing in Strood. I am look­ing for­ward to phases 2 and 3 of the pro­gramme in the sense of grow­ing as a person.”
