Join the revolution

Educating disadvantaged families will transform society and save £billions – join the revolution

There are 3 principle objectives to the Revolution:

  1. To empower disadvantaged families to work in partnership with teachers in secondary schools in order to unlock the hidden potential within their children.
  2. To connect with visionaries from a many different areas in order to produce a framework for an educational system suitable for a constantly changing world.
  3. To pressurise the Departments of Education, Health & Social Care, Work & Pensions and OFSTED to collaborate so that they share a comprehensive and consistent approach.

We need you…

We need to become proactive and create an empowered society that takes responsibility for themselves. We’ve got the next step, but need to tap into the collective consciousness of visionaries to be more innovative for a constantly changing world. Let’s collaborate and be part of a revolution.

The Departments of Education, Health & Social Care, Work & Pensions and OFSTED are acutely aware of the increasing challenges and costs (emotional and financial) of supporting disadvantaged families. However, Government are reactive, short term and lack the agility or willingness to act – it’s up to us.

Why we need to take action today

According to the British Chambers of Commerce, 88% of businesses believe school leavers are unprepared for the world of work. Obviously this points to a bigger problem, and not just the disadvantaged. But we want to focus our attention on them now as they have unbelievable hidden potential.

Over the last 16 years we’ve been empowering children to fully express themselves in partnership with their parents or teachers with a focus on disadvantaged families. We have noticed that unless a child is in danger from serious harm, there is less and less support for them and their parents/carers.

Our evidence based programs are innovative and successful yet we have been unable to persuade Government to change their stance. We strongly believe that everyone who cares about our children’s future must collaborate in order to find a better way forward for them.

Schools are at the forefront and are well aware of the impact on their grades of children from disadvantaged families. They require additional support and resources with increasing costs whilst budgets are diminishing.

However we have found empowered parents and carers are more positive, resilient and have a holistic view of their life and their families. In consequence are more supportive to the schools endeavours.

If you resonate with this action please join our ‘Campaign to empower disadvantaged  families’ or email alan.wilson@me.com and tell me how you would like to be involved.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
